You receive a massage in an ergonomically designed chair over your clothes. Our techniques are specifically designed for chair massages and focused on high-tension areas such as the back, the neck & shoulders. It effectively promotes maximum relaxation within a very short duration of time.

We will bring all the equipment and supplies necessary to your site to make you feel relaxed such as the chair, face covers, cleaning supplies, and soft music. All we ask for is about a 7 ft by 7 ft space and 10 to 30 minutes of your time.

With our chair massages, the benefits you experience are immediate and clear. You feel lighter, more relaxed, and alert. Your knots and tensions will be released and you will be reenergized to carry on with your day. As well, chair massages are a cost and time effective way to promote your business, reward employees, appreciate customers, and simply to treat yourself.

About Allevia

Allevia was founded by Mako with an intention to help you feel rebalanced and lighter so that you can achieve more in your life. Having worked in executive and management positions in fast-paced corporate environments for years while raising a family and pursuing an advanced degree, she knows first hand how challenging and stressful juggling multiple balls can be at times. Now that she has overcome some medical setbacks caused by an overstressed and unbalanced lifestyle, she is dedicated to helping you achieve more through sharing the benefits of aromatherapy, yoga, and chair massage with those who are in need of relaxation and tension relief in a healthful, efficient and effective way.

We have assembled the best practitioners in the field who are passionate about helping you feel relaxed on our chairs. All of our practitioners are certified, insured, highly skilled, and experienced in a variety of environment and situations to provide consistent massages but yet able to customize to your specific needs within the specific timeframe.

In addition, we are committed to do our part to minimize environmental impact. Some of the initiatives we are engaged in include:

• We eliminate the on-site garbage and increase your comfort by using cotton cloth face covers instead of disposal or paper towels.
• The face covers are replaced after each use and washed in dye & fragrance free biodegradable laundry detergent.
• We use Health Canada approved botanical disinfectant to ensure that our chairs are thoroughly cleaned after each use without using harsh chemicals that can be damaging to the Earth and our health.
• Our business cards and brochures are printed by certified Tree-Free Printing methods. They are printed on eco-friendly, ethically-produced 100% post-consumer waste product with soy inks.
